A wonderful, clean, and quiet space. We stayed on the top floor during the heat wave but it wasn’t too bad in the evening and the owner let us have an extra fan to stay cool. Highly recommended.

Stayed here during the heatwave in a twin room. Fan was provided which was very much needed.
We dropped our bags earlier in the daytime and were met by the host. She was very welcoming and friendly. We were given our key so we didn’t have to return later to check in. We also left our luggage there until time to go home which was much appreciated.
Very decent shower and comfy beds. Excellent host

Immaculate room, everything clean and presentable. Staff polite and welcoming. Parking available and within confines of the property.

Basic room in an older house. Comfortable bed, clean, shower had hot water. Even though our room was fronted on the street, it was quiet. Small parking lot in back. No breakfast or coffee. Good location to Oxford.

Lovely place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Oxford; a short walk from the main tourist attractions, close by to West Gate Shopping centre and just a stone throw away from the Thames. Lovely staff was very helpful and accommodating, would definitely come back the next time we visit

Our rooms were available early and we headed right in after a delightful conversation with one of the staff. The rooms were clean and roomy. We had two family rooms. The bathroom was clean with all amenities. They were quiet for looking out on the main road. I’ve stayed here twice and enjoyed it each time.

Parking was difficult. No A/C. Little help with our suitcases. No dining facilities. Not near any shops.
Would stay there again.

Martyn was a gracious host and room. Ery clean and comfortable. I’ve rated it a 4 as we had to walk into Oxford for breakfast. Having said that, we enjoyed the Sunday morning walk. Would stay again and highly recommend.
