First off, I don’t recall that when I booked this stop the bathrooms and showers were in a separate area. So that may have been my mistake. Second, I had a group of 6, 3 tall boys who barely fit in the room with our luggage. And lastly, we all received tickets for a “complimentary” drink at their cafe. Well their cafe was never open when we were there. This location is great for transportation. And great if you don’t mind sharing bathroom and shower. Unfortunately, for us, is was tough.

The space overall was clean and minimalistic.

Easy walk to station for our early morning hs train. Plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the area. The family room with shower got enough space (the small living room area) for our big suitcases and save us from using the shared shower room that may be located on a different level. The welcome drinks (mango juice and iced coffee) were best when sweating so much on a hot summer day.

Great place to stay. Comfortable bed and quiet. Great low cost hotel.

Wonderful front desk staff. The location is great, near Hakata Station as well as Canal City.

I ended up not staying at this hotel, as Expedia was not clear and highlighting anything about the SHARED BATHROOM situation, but other than factor, this hotel is excellently decorated - very minimalist with all the right touches - and the staff was exceptional, especially Imaizumi, who was a great communicator and full of understanding of what my dissatisfaction was about the place. She ended up letting me book another hotel within the same mother company, so it was a win-win for both parties.

A short walk from Hakata Station and Canal City. This is the most important aspect as we had an early flight after checking out. Time parking is also available within walking distance. We managed to get a room with private bathroom. The bathroom is very spacious. The bunker beds are clean with charging point next to the bed. There is also shared bathrooms on the ground floor. The hotel provided us with welcome drinks of our choice from their in-house cafe right beside the check-in reception. The staff is very friendly and the response via the platform chat is fast. We left our luggage early in the morning to explore the city before returning for check-in. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay in this hotel.

mildew and dirty shower stalls, the housekeeping staff is incompetent and had the audacity to initially refuse my request to make up my room.

It’s close to the metro line station and easy to reach several convenience stores. Also it’s walkable to a big shopping mall ‘canal city Hakata’. And I personally really like the design and taste of this hotel. The public restroom and shower area also made me feel comfortable to use.

Loved this place - bunk beds were perfect for a family of 4. They are larger than they look on the photos.
