Good bed, room very big, TV could be a little bit bigger. A lot of stores around.

This might be dramatic but I think it’s really stupid to pay for parking at a hotel that you’re already paying to stay at. If parking needs to be paid it should be included in the hotel cost or at least warned. I planned to pay what the booking said and was shocked to find out I had to pay an extra $30 just to park my own car in an open, unprotected parking lot. If you’re planning to stay here please know they had me pay $15 per night for parking.

Nice hotel for short stay.

This hotel was a perfect distance to my sons’ apartment, and it would be perfect if they didn’t charge $15/ day for parking. The place needs new TV’s as well, which they are working on, but the staff and service was excellent!

I've stayed at DoubleTree hotels many times and am usually pretty happy with them. But this stay was definitely disappointing. The rooms were somewhat rundown and though the location looks good on the map, due to the freeway ramps and access roads, it was a bit of a pain. But the worst aspect was the horrible internet service. One would think in this day and age, a major hotel chain, especially in the hi-tech town of Austin, would be able to provide reliable internet service. But that was not the case. The internet was ok when it worked but was down most of our stay. Clearly the problem was with the captive authorization service. To make matters worse, the staff was less than helpful and just said things like "I'll call them" or "the tech is here working on it", followed by "the tech will be here tomorrow", etc. Will definitely never stay at this location again.

All the things you want included a hotel room for a 2-night stay.

My stay was great. I will definitely book an ok there stay here!
