Large hotel in a great location next to the train station. Feels very 1920s - rooms large and nicely decorated and clean - good atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was great. Gym was nicer than many hotel gyms.

Fantastic hotel right next to Helsinki railway station. Warm welcome, modern reception, and excellent staff who switch to fluent English immediately. Our third‑floor double room was stylish and impressively quiet despite overlooking the tracks. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Extremely convenient for travel—would definitely stay again.

We loved the hotel, the location was great, the room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable, very nice bathroom too, we enjoyed our stay and we will come back again.

A historic building converted into a hotel. A great location directly next to the train station which provides easy access to the city and a few minute walk to market square. My room was modern, comfortable and I liked the bed too. My only disappointments were the lack of signage directing guests to the ramp which I s located to the left of the main entrance and the breakfast. The breakfast looks appealing but it consists of strange combinations of salads and breakfast foods. The buffet needs more fruits and some yogurt.

We enjoyed staying at Scandic Grand Central Helsinki. The location was great, breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

breakfast was ok, but they serve the same things everyday. Not ideal if you stay longer. But they try! Its a very big place and slightly understaffed. For location, its perfect!
