The hotel is very nice. The staff is what really made the property . They are so nice and really go above and beyond. The location is great as well. Super convenient for walking to POI in Clearwater and the beach is just one street over. The only issues we encountered was the room size. If it's just 2 people it's fine. My wife and I brought our two kids and it was a bit tight. The fridge is another downside. It's more of a wine chiller. You have to hold the quick chill button to get it down to safe holding temperatures for food. We found out the hard way and noticed the fridge didn't get colder than 59 degrees without holding that button down.Not very much room for any left overs. The room also has a very small trash can . Maybe the size of a football. I would recommend bringing your own trash bags. It's also important to know that they force you to use valet parking . It's $38 a day plus tax for "regular size" vehicles and $48 a day plus tax for "oversized vehicles". The valet decides what category your vehicle falls in. I will say I drive a 2011 Chevy 1500 crew cab (stock) and it fell in the "regular size". The last thing I will say is I felt most of the guest were not exactly friendly . I know the hotel has nothing to do with that but it's something that made the vibe feel off. Other than that, for the price and what you get.You can't really beat it in my honest opinion.

Good customer service

This was one of the worst stays I have ever had the room was filthy the floors were sticky the bathroom was full of hairs and mold the doors deadbolt did to latch front desk said they couldn’t do anything about the deadbolt the water in the shower smell like rotten eggs just a very unpleasant stay will never stay a AC Marriott ever again had a 2 night stay canceled the second night because of how bad the experience was.

The pool was dirty, the rooftop bar was never open. They need better music playing at pool, the music creats the environment and that music puts you to sleep. The breakfast should be included because it was continental style. Rooms should all have balconies. The parking of $38 a night is a rip off that should be included. Not going back again.

Very nice place. Had very clean rooms, and perfect accommodation for the beach. Within a few minute walk from the beach and restaurants/bars.

Initial room held water under floor tile, bad odor, local staff great resolve though. Breakfast for $20 is not good food options. Hot bar extremely limited.

Great hotel for a weekend get away

Stayed for the weekend, the hotel was nice. I still don’t understand why they charge for parking when you’re paying over $400 a night to stay there. At least it was for the weekend I was there. My room looked clean, but as we carefully looked in the bathroom, the shower lacked deep cleaning especially in the corners and doors. The sink kept draining slow, and the bath gel was out, luckily I packed some but had to get out and get back in so I could bathe my daughter and myself. The shampoo and conditioner also needed to be refilled. The room I stayed in looked like it had several water leaks on the roof and one seemed to be growing mold. I had to walk with my sandals in the room because the floor still felt like sand was on it. We had a hard time figuring out the sofa bed and when we called the front desk to see if they could help or give us guidance, the nice lady said that the maintenance staff wasn’t available. Perhaps they should provide better information on how to open it, since it wasn’t your typical way of opening it. I think the breakfast is a bit too expensive-$20 pp when most of the stuff I saw was mid. We decided to eat elsewhere and saved over $30. The pool was wonderful, although the sun chairs on the pool deck were terribly hard and uncomfortable. The ones in the sun deck were nice though, but I had to be by the pool since I had to watch my daughter. Overall the location was good, close to the beach, I don’t think I’ll stay there again. My sandals got stolen :-(

This hotel is in a great location! Staff overall were kind and helpful. Beautiful lobby too. Overall, for a newer hotel there is some significant wear and tear in the hotel room and in the details of other amenities like the pool area. Pool area had stained chairs, drains covered in hair and just overall felt dirty. Pro was the room had no carpet which was great to help consolidate sand. However, the hallway to the room smelt of vomit and at times gerbil bedding. I must warn others about the valet! They tried charging us for valet ($38/night plus about $10/night for alleged taxes- ooof rough) we had a car onsite for maybe 8 hours, it was fine if we needed to pay for a single night, but when I called down to ask about the charges I saw in an emailed receipt before check out the man at the desk was having trouble coming to terms with the fact there was no car for the majority of the stay. Then told me he would take it off the bill and I was luckily suspicious so then addressed it with another front desk clerk before leaving and the charges had not been removed. Luckily this clerk was able to take the charges off. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A CAR!!!! Sneaky charges await!!!
