The hotel is unsanitary. My family and I booked 3 rooms, there were flying bugs, foul odor in my room; my sister found a bug crawling on her bed and her commode was dirty and broken. After spending 4 days stay we couldn’t stay there because of the unsanitary nature of this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights with our three kids. Postives were: Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the only locations we could stay with our whole family in one room. Super close to the beach and they had umbrellas and mats to borrow if you needed them. Cute street a short walk away from the main area with restaurants and about 20 minutes walk from Old Town. Cute decor. Not so great: Room was tiny which was fine for our family but really hard when it came to storing our luggage and clothes. There was nowhere to put anything which is tough when the room sleeps 5. We felt like we were exploding out of there so just be aware when booking the family room that storage space is limited. Breakfast was included which was nice but it’s definitely the basics. Will do the trick but we have had amazing built in breakfasts in Europe at cheaper hotels.

if you're on a budget and want something that's close to the beach, it works! but real talk... the toilet wasn't quite working its best, the shower doesn't have a curtain so water splashes all over the floor. the air conditioning works very well though!!! i had a room with a balcony, it was nice to put my bikini on it, but it doesn't really have a good view. the beach ammenities they have are tattered and torn, i think that one of them had a period stain on them LOLOL, but it's nice that they offer. something kind of creepy, is that the hallway lights have a motion detector, so you have to walk a bit in the dark before the light turns on... kind of scary when you're traveling in a different country. i do get that it's for saving energy. the location is good though so for that it's chill. TV works too. it got the job done but it's not really an experience, i'd compare it to staying in a college boy's apartment that he shares with other people. lol

Had a quick one night stay here before a flight. The staff were really helpful and were able to book an airport transfer for us outside of normal hours. Loved the location.

Room was small but clean. Located adjacent to outdoor patio which they clean at 2:30 in the morning…woke us up both nights…try to avoid staying in those rooms

The front desk was extremely nice and helpful.

The location was awesome close to beach, parking for rented bikes across the street with in walking distance to the train stop. Room was a little small for 3 adults but the bathroom made up for it. as an American the ac was good but didn't recover fast. overall good property would recommend more for a party of 2 then 3 though

Absolutely fabulous first stay at Hotel De France for our first time in Nice, would highly recommend!

This hotel was incredible.. super sweet staff to help us. Super hot shower and cold A/C which has not always been our experience in France. Excellent location!! Walk to everything 💛
