We stayed 6 nights at Kali Centro and I was happy with our decision. The Hotel
was very easy to find. It is located between the Salto de Agua and Balderas Metro 1 stops…and is a 6 minute walk to either of them. It is also about a 10 minute walk to Bellas Artes or China Town. The Hotel is clean with modern updates. The check in was easy and every employee we came in contact with was very nice and helpful. We were on the 4th floor and our room was very quiet. The mattress was on the firm side but was comfortable. I have to mention that the elevator broke 1 day but was quickly fixed. The Breakfast for me was a highlight and had plenty of options and was fresh and replenished throughout the morning so you don’t have to worry about being the first one when they open in the morning, haha. There is a small restaurant in the lobby with good food and beverage options for a quick meal or casual drink. They provide a bottle of water for each person per day which i appreciated. They also have a filtered water station in the lobby where you can fill your own water bottle. Our floor also had a filtered hot water dispenser. I’ve read reviews about the internet but we didn’t have any problems with our phones. There is a nice seating area on each floor that offers a stronger WiFi connection if needed. There’s also a large quiet seating area adjacent to the dining room. When we return to Mexico City again we’ll definitely stay at Kali Centro. It is budget friendly but without compromises. 👍
