The onsen is huge and spacious. The Japanese room is cozy and comfortable. Hotel is on a hill slope hence self driving is preferred if want to stay there. Not many choices for dinner nearby outside the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is superb, with yummy smoothies.

Wow, the views from the onsen were sooooo nice. And the onsen was incredible.
The room was also excellent (Japanese style futon), and both dinner and breakfast were great and full of options.
Plus, this is the best jumping off point to get into Shiretoko national park. Highly highly recommend!!!

So long as you don’t need western TV options, this is a perfect resort onsen hotel to choose for Shiretoko National Park. They’ve thought of everything (except Western TV options). Bit of a long walk to town for touring and lunch, but everything else is there.
