The stay was rather disappointing. It used to be an amazing hotel when i first visited many years ago. But after the name change, the standards dropped.

Booked this place for my dad and his friends and they totally loved it! Morning market, great hawker food, streets stalls just around the corner great for earlybird like them. Few landmarks within 10mins drive, town area in just 20mins.
Hotel building may looked small but dont be fool by it! Room was spacious, clean environments no less than 5stars hotel. Service was great too.
Highly recommended of you are here to penang.

There aren't many attractions nearby De View hotel, but it's conveniently located close to the wet market and Kek Lok Si temple. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere and complimentary parking.

Service is good. But the interior condition of the room is somewhat reasonable, the bathroom drainage has a slight issue whereby the flow of the water is quite slow.
Suggest for breakfast to be improved on. Otherwise there is a whole stretch of street food to consider for breakfast which is cheap and good.
