Best hotel I’ve stayed at 1000% recommend

Highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a stay in St. Pete. This hotel was perfect...the staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was nice (clean and spacious and the bed was very comfy). However, our favorite thing about this hotel was the location. It is right in the heart of St. Pete and we could walk to everything. It was nice because this was a romantic staycation and we were able to go out and have cocktails at night without having to pay for an uber. There was literally no place that we wanted to go that wasn't within walking distance! One note...parking is expensive. You can save a little money by parking in a parking deck. There are several very close to the hotel.

Great hotel, actually built on the property (the Tropicana) where I once ran an art gallery. Sadly, nobody working there, despite the plaque right outdoors, knew anything about the property or its history. Two things. The bar is a wasteland, which is a shame, because it’s clean, attractive and should be buzzing, especially during the World Cup. A number of folks at breakfast (which is great!) were looking for someplace to watch the game(s). None of them were going there. The second thing is small. Please put magnifying mirrors in the bathrooms.

Very nice breakfast - both hot and cold options. Really delich coffee. Clean spacious room; comfy beds and pillows. Quiet. Area is very walkable to museums, Tropicana Field, shops. Excellent restaurants close by - Mio’s Grille and Cafe on 2nd Street just a few steps from hotel.

Everything was alright except the tv control was not working. A staff person came promptly to fix it, but the control was still not working to turn it off. It was too late to call again.

Carpets weren’t as clean as it should be.

Great location. Pool dirty. Breakfast had a lot of options but food quality wasn’t the best.

The best part is the awesome staff! Although your delicious breakfast was also excellent!!!! Thank you
