We stay at Hotel Impero every year. It is always a good experience. This hotel is vey close to every major sight in Rome. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent!

I thought breakfast was included and I was charged for it

This was my first trip to Rome. I was travelling with my wife and college-age son. The Impero Hotel is conveniently located near the Terminal; where one can also get easy access to the hop-on/hop-off tourist bus lines. It is also located in the heart of some very fine restaurants (try the smaller, less fancier ones on the side streets). If you like classical music and opera; the opera house is right next door. The hotel itself gives you the basics, a bed, a bathroom, and a nice air-conditioned room (essential if you're traveling as I was in the hot Italian summer). But what more do you need, if you're going to be spending most of your days exploring the glories of Rome? The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and the staff were exceptional. If I ever come back to Rome, I will definitely come back to the Impero Hotel.

The room was comfortable, air conditioning worked well,breakfast seemed abundant but was mostly sweet stuff, but the coffee was incredible

Very kind staff and comfortable stay in general. It was clean, but the cleaning products have a very strong and chemical smell so they gave me a headache.

It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay and we enjoyed the air con especially during the hot weather and I highly recommend it.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walk to termini station. Walkable to Trevi fountain and the coliseum/palatine hill. Beds were fine, not great but did the job. A/C worked well and kept the room cool through the heatwave in Rome. Great value for the money. Still uses physical keys on a heavy key chain, they request that you leave them with the desk when you go out.
