Set within a former Gentlemen's Club, YHA Newcastle Beach has retained heritage features including a communal lounge area with a fireplace, wood panelling and leather sofas. The property is set opposite Newcastle Beach and is 300 m from Hamilton Train Station and the Greyhound Bus Station. This hostel boasts a terrace with BBQ facilities, a large shared kitchen and a games room with table tennis and a billiards table. Guests have free use of surfboards and bodyboards. The hostel also offers a tour desk and laundry facilities. Both dormitory rooms and private rooms are available. All offer access to shared bathroom facilities. Each room has a fan, and includes bed linen.
