It is in good location for shopping and restaurants

The location is good but traffic at this area could be bad, there were strong cigarette smell in our room and the staff were swift to change our rooms. Overall very good impression of their service. There’s also a lot of good food on meituan near this area

Most staff spoke little or no English. If you don't speak Chinese, its difficult to communicate. Lobby floor toilet was very dirty and not cleaned regularly after high traffic in the morning after breakfast. Till past midday no one cleaned and I had to speak to the front office staff to look into it

Hotel location is excellent but room conditions so so only. Water pressure very low. Light switches confusing or not working

The hotel, rooms, staff, and the breakfast buffet were excellent! The staff were very attentive and I was praise their staff who spoke Cantonese and were most helpful during my stay. Thank you to May, James, and Jayden. May helped check my family and I in during our stay, James helped me make a dining reservation outside of the hotel, and Jayden helped us coordinate our rides to the airport. I appreciate the hotel hospitality and liked that the hotel offer Chinese soup or dessert soup every evening. As a Cantonese speaker visiting from the U.S, I really appreciated having staff who also spoke Cantonese help us. The breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant was amazing, I would return to the hotel to eat there. High quality food and great chefs! The rooms are big, clean, and amenities were wonderful. The only down part was that my toilet was clogged twice during my 4-5 day stay, but the staff were quick to send someone up to help clear it.

The area is nice with lots of shop houses selling herbs and dried Chinese ingredients. Lots of good Chinese restaurants around the corner. Some staff speak English. No free coffee at the lobby which is disappointing. Bar in lobby close early at 10pm. Overall location is nice.

El staff es muy amable. La habitación amplia y confortable. El desayuno en su mayoría es de comida china, por eso solo lo probé una vez. Al cuarto de laundry hay que hacerle mantenimiento. Pero el hotel en todo lo demás es excelente! Siempre regreso ahí! Muchas gracias al staff por hacer que mi estadía fuera muy buena!

En la recepción son muy amables! La habitación es muy amplia y confortable, el staff muy a disposición de ayudar. El laundry necesita mantenimiento, porque hay secadoras que no funcionan ese es el único detalle. Muchas gracias por permitirme tener una excelente estadía!!

Service from the staff was top-notch, everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Special mention to: lady at check-in desk was very helpful and patient, room service staff paid great attention to detail. Self-service laundry is appreciated - however the payment system only works for locals (even though we had an Alipay account set up), so this could be improved. Also, the armchair/sofa in our rooms were stained and probably should be properly steam cleaned or even re-upholstered for a hotel of this price.

Hotel does not look much from the outside but internally, especially the rooms are well renovated and comfortable. The location is right next to the old walking street and the old part of Guangzhou, full of characters. It is located within walking distance to 永庆坊 and Shamien Island. Also quite near the subway, Cultural Park.
