The room is clean and space is great. Location is wonderful. The only thing we concern is the elevator did not use key security. That means any outsider can enter the elevator and come into your hallway.

The hotel itself was very clean and nice. Besides that the breakfast was horrible. So bad that I think I got some form of food poisoning from it. The staff were somewhat friendly but one of the cleaning staff barged into my room and demanded my laundry from me without saying it’s something I had to pay for so I had to run downstairs and get it back. Also the wifi was absolutely horrendous I couldn’t do my remote school work at all. Frustrating because a lot of money was spent on this place and it really went great. Don’t think I would recommend.

Lovely beautiful hotel, if not ever so slightly dated in its decor, however it’s beautifully maintained. My room was exceptionally comfortable and the location fantastic. The staff were not overly welcoming and I also had to provide a deposit at check-in despite having paid for my room already. This practice seems a bit outdated and is very none customer friendly. You demand an immediate deposit but then won’t/can’t refund people’s money back immediately… I didn’t like this at all and three days later still haven’t got MY money back. Breakfast catered for a wide range of tastes, continental, cooked eggs and local cuisines which was lovely. A nice place to stay, staff aside.

I loved my stay at Central Hotel! Great location, awesome spacious room, all necessities provided, and the staff is so helpful and friendly, they left me nothing to worry about. First time in China, this was such a treat, absolutely fabulous!

Great hotel

Great location just steps from Nanjing E. Rd pedestrian area. Nice hotel I have stayed here 2 times in the last 3 years.

*Great location, rushed check-in* *Pros:* Excellent Nanjing Road location. Tour bus stop + halal food nearby. Grand old-school hotel with big lobby chandeliers. Concierge/bell staff very helpful. *Cons:* 1:30pm arrival, 2pm check-in. Queue made check-in rushed with little info. Room ok but housekeeping seemed rushed. Needed spoons for tea/coffee + extra water. *Overall:* Location, grandeur, concierge service best parts.

Great stay, quiet room (2210) near nanjing east and the bund. Clean hotel with nice view. Only bad thing is that the soap and shampoo sucks had to buy from convenience store. Tea wasn't consistently topped up. Also the mala peanuts are not free!! Haha they are part of the mini bar.

Old hotel badly need updating. Room smelled strongly of Smoking. Bathroom was small. Location was the only good part as it was close to Nanjing road walking street.

Everybody was helpful and I like the location of the hotel. Excellent staff and location.
