Very beautiful hotel, with excellent and competent staff, especially consierge Davis. I'll be back.

Hotel was nice. Near the subway station. Didn’t find many good restaurants near the hotel. Hotel situated a couple blocks away from the furthest end of the river front walkway. It’s a very nice riverfront stroll to view the Shanghai skyline.

Great location, good hotel with decent food. Staff very helpful at all times.

Nice and clean hotel in a good location. However the worst staff experience I have ever had. No mention of anything when checking in or out. They barely look up when speaking to you. The internet is not the easy to use and we couldn’t call it to ask for help because the phone in the room didn’t work. Does the job for an overnight stay/layover but do not recommend for actual travellers as the staff are unhelpful and rude.

All the features are quite nice….BUT….! There is a window between the bathroom and the main room with no blind. There is a door on the toilet and shower, but both are made of glass, so you can see right in. Originally we had it booked as a family room, however my teenage daughter would not stay in the room with her step dad! She ended up getting her own room and was happier. My husband and I stayed in the glass room and I was quite uncomfortable for the entire stay. We arrived late at night due to flight delays, so it was around 2am when we arranged for our daughter’s room. My husband made a mistake with my daughter’s room booking and entered the wrong checkout so the deposit was a day short. Instead of contacting him, they froze my daughter’s key and told her she couldn’t have her bags without payment. She was confused and paid the money and they released her possessions. She handled it well considering her age. The following day everyone was extremely nice to us and constantly offered to do various things….but weirdly they didn’t apologise. Not all of the rooms have the odd glass bathroom.
