This was scary experince, when checked in room a staff was sleeping on sofa, when complained to reception, they did not care, bathroom floor, wall dirty from previous stay dirty wash basin ( took photos)

Stayed here numerous times. Now considering it our home base when visiting Shanghai/China. The staff are always courteous and accommodating. Will definitely return again.

Great experience. Excellent location, clean, friendly staff. We stayed for a week and had breakfast. Breakfast had buffet and menu included. Quality of food was great but for one week and no change in menu was boring. They said they change the menu every 2 weeks and in my opinion that’s too long for same many. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I visit Shanghai again.

Unorganized. Rooms were not ready till 7pm. And 1 of tge 2 room was wrong with a king bed instead of 2 twins as booked.
Room/interior hotel was old and outdated.
Carpet was not vacuum during room service.

少しがっかり We've got around 2:30pm and our 2nrooms were not ready aound 7pm.
There were around 10 others who also waiting for their room.
One of tge 2 rooms wasn't the one we booked. We booked a 2 twin beds and they gave one king bed room to us had to wait another hour and the room service came and split the king out to 2 twins. So the original king bed was a 2 twin beds put together.
The room were dirty and small. Carpet was very old.
All the bathrooms fixtures were old and outdated.
Room service is terrible. Not vacuum during our entire stay eventhough we only request to have room service once every two day.
We were sold by the front picture of the hotel when we booked and it is a total disappointed.
The hotel front and the location are good.
The rest are a one star hotel.

The hotel is in great location. But other than location, not much reaching Ascott general standards at all. Front desk can’t speak / understand English. Room is carpet with hairs. The bathtub is so tiring and you won’t take a bath at all. Gym is 24 hours which is great. The swimming pool needs someone to escort you to visit and they force you to buy a swimming cap which is not stated in any part of the reservation requirement. I won’t be choosing this one in the future for sure.
