This property met our needs . Good parking ,we slept well and the breakfast room was spacious with good food and friendly staff

Everything about this I would rate as 5* - except the bed. The bed had a slope (informed to proprietor but no reply yet) which meant for 3 nights I had poor sleep, fighting the slope. As the #1 thing to get right for any stay is the bed, this seriously affected this review and I was even mulling leaving a 2* rating because of that. However, I decided against it as I hope the proprietor will as a result of this review *replace the mattress* for the benefit of others.

Beautiful bed and breakfast hotel, with a great breakfast and a large variety /selection for options. Room was nice and cozy. Location was excellent and adjacent to the most beautiful town and lake. Only very minor complaint was the size of the room and bathroom which were a bit small, but that wouldn't stop us from staying again if we had the chance.

Clean room, no reception / housekeeping but additional items available e.g. tea bags, toilet rolls. Lovely pre booked cooked breakfast and cereals and yogurt available. Nice views from my room, but I would have liked black out curtains - personal preference. Quiet area, easy access to Keswick, lovely team.

Great location as a base with Keswick only a 20 min walk or 5 minute drive. The room was comfortable with everything you needed and there were spare items such as towels and coffee to help yourself to in communal areas. Breakfast was fantastic and all of the staff we met were so helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again!

Easy self check in. The room was very spacious with full bathroom and toiletries. Also had a hairdryer. The breakfast was excellent 👌 with plenty of choice which you ordered the night before. Staff were helpful and restocked the breakfast table with fruit, juice and yoghurt. I loved the fact that there were mugs on the tables, depicting the Wainwrights! Nice touch. Parking was a bit tight if you returned late, but for one night, it was fine. Would definitely stay again!

Nice clean room, nice staff, easy to check in

Nice little hotel/B&B with excellent breakfast and on-site parking. We had a door into the garden which looked in need of some TLC but no complaints and happy to recommend
