Really helpful staff. We were able to check in early which we very much appreciated after a long flight. We liked the location and the neighborhood restaurants close by.

Great location and room amenities

Visited with my wife and son. Tiny rooms but that’s not my criticism of the property. Upon arrival, very unhelpful unfriendly staff. Check in was smooth. Airconditioning in room, poor. Room was not clean when we entered. I complained the next morning and still the room was not properly cleaned. Shampoo was empty as well. If it wasn’t for the Italian chef at the breakfast room, this property should have shut down. Nothing can take me back there.

The staff were very polite. The toilet in our room was on the other side of a glass wall about 4 feet from the bed. The television didn't work and after two nights we had to move to another room to get one that did. Even then , we couldn't stream or cast anything. Beware the bike rentals. There are rental bikes at both entrances and only one set works after a lot of effort. Scan the bar, download the app, figure out how to unlock the bike. Then wait for the next scheduled half hour to be able to ride. It's confusing and frustrating. The breakfast is mediocre at best. Chopped bacon and (powered?) scrambled eggs. The coffee is good.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Amsterdam

Amazing place in all areas!

Quiet location in a good residential area, lovely buildings, near transport and the lovely park. Comfortable bed, overall seemed clean. However, I intensely dislike scatter cushions against clean white pillows. Why most hotels do this is beyond me. It adds nothing to the room. One knows these are unlikely to be cleaned, especially after short stay guests, and mine had a couple of stains! Those were quickly despatched to the window sill. The tray holding the folded bathroom towels needed a wipe. I did not like the toiletries which had a strong Jasmine perfume - personal taste, no doubt. Breakfast was disappointing. I eat continental so can’t judge the cooked food. The bread was disappointing for Amsterdam, but they had rolls. Selection of cheese also poor. Happy to pay 21 or 26 euros (price depended on whether one booked in advance) but didn’t feel I received value on this occasion. I was near the staff room so doors banging early morning. The doors are heavy so easy to do. Nice touches were the free water in glass bottles which one could refill at reception, and the Nespresso machine. The luggage rack is inadequate for modern suitcases. I was in a superior Queen.

We were very comfortable in this hotel. Great location, relaxed setting, helpful people.

This was a great place for Amsterdam. Appreciated all of the help to finding places. Enjoyed the restaurant for dinner.
