Lovely views

Disappointed that the Hermitage takes a $300 bond per room. The motels are very old . It would be difficult to do $300 worth of damage especially when you are 78 years old. I feel $50 bond is adequate, if one is needed at all. Has put me off returning

Excellent location and great staff availability and service

Our stay was a highlight of our 8 day trip to the South Island. The room was clean. The heated floor was a very nice touch. The shower was generous in size. The restaurant staff were friendly. Our only complaint was that the check in process was lengthy as there was only one staff member on the desk - he needed some help!!

Lovely renovated room, a little small but for two people it was great. It was fabulous to stay right at Mt Cook National Park and this was a highlight. Dinner was great and had great choices. Amazing location.

The check-in location was very confusing. When I FINALLY located it, there was no parking out front. The 2 women at the reception were not very friendly. The grounds outside all around and the buildings exterior of the motels themselves were rundown. Paint chipping and peeling on exterior and doors, mildew, weeds growing out front, muddy and plant droppings all right outside of entrance. Overpriced and NO AMENITIES. The inside was surprisingly decent and clean.

Staff helpful and friendly. Room clean and spacious although aircon did not work. Lovely food in gourmet bar.

Room was clean and pleasant. evening dinning was at the motel but all other meals had to be taken at the upscale facilities at the main lodge rather inconvenient.

Clean room, friendly staff

This place exceeded my expectations! I initially thought it would be more like a lodge or motel, but it turned out to be beautifully luxurious and incredibly cozy. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is spacious and well-appointed. The staff are generally friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only slight downside is that the view isn’t particularly impressive, but everything else more than makes up for it. Highly recommended! 🌟
