Food was a average at best.

) I stayed at Kandaya Resort and while the resort has a beautiful ocean view and the staff were genuinely friendly, the overall experience was disappointing due to a number of operational issues that should have been addressed before guests arrive. When I first checked into my room there were several problems including the door lock not working properly, the TV and cable not functioning, the Smart TV needing to be reconnected, a toilet with very weak pressure that clogged, and light switches that wouldn’t turn off until an electrician came and rewired the switch. These are the kinds of things that really should be checked before renting the room to guests. The biggest issue during my stay was the service and staff training. The resort appears to rely heavily on OJT (on-the-job training) staff, and while they were all very nice, many clearly had not been properly trained. Ordering food was frustrating because meals often arrived at completely different times, sometimes with one person getting their food and the other waiting 20 minutes for theirs, which takes away from the experience of dining together. The breakfast buffet also had issues with food temperature; the first morning the food was cold, the next morning it was warm after I mentioned it, and the following day it was cold again until a manager had to go into the kitchen to address it. Staff amazing and the room was everything the photos showed. Great beach Bit to far away from things, 3 weeks was too much and we left earlier than we had booked for Restaurant staff went above and beyond but the food wasn’t the greatest Would certainly recommend it for a shorter stay

It’s a perfect getaway for families and friends. Even though just one night but it is worth it. There are plenty of activities to enjoy here, especially if you make full use of the services they offer. I love how peaceful it is, it really helps you relax and unwind. The room was huge and the service is excellent.

Stayed here with my husband and my baby. The private pool ocean view villa was awesome but there was a leak in the bathroom. Everything was great but the facility needs an update. Also, if they can have a baby changing station at the lobby's bathroom and the restaurant to make it easy to guest with babies.

Excellent well kept property but terrible food and extremely slow service Very under staffs

I always want to stay here when I need to relax. The beachfront room is always my go to. I can watch the sunrise from the balcony. The foods are amazing, my husband loved the pork bbq and fried rice. Will definitely come back.

Top hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

Good service

I didn’t actually stay booked a room for my friend & her niece . On arrival they were given an upgrade . When entering the room they said wow . Thank you for this & will stay again in the future
