Late notice of pool availability Great to see this lovely hotel being revamped

Nice bathroom but room was quite tired and lacking comfort for the star rating

Unfortunately my experience was poor. A lot of maintenance, lack lustre food options, very average room provisions. Probably would not come back

Beautifully appointed and spacious room, stunning views of the beach, beautiful new furniture which included two chairs (many hotels only give a single chair), a table and a sofa, nice bed, large TV with access to all free-to-air channels which we watched sipping top quality tea. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and even allowed us a slightly later checkout. They told us in advance that their pool was under renovations but we could have free access to the Scarborough Pool next door which is a lovely pool complex.

Enjoyed our stay and the great ocean views from our room and balcony on the 17th floor! The beds were very comfortable and the room was well appointed. Staff were lovely and responsive. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location next to the beach was fantastic and we made use of the bus station nearby and connections to the city along with the array of cafes, bars and other eateries nearby. Soundproofing in the room was fantastic which blocked noise from the road and the nightlife. We had trouble adjusting the aircon temperature down so would open doors where possible - instructions for that would be good. We were originally allocated an unrenovated room on the 14th floor with a shower in bath arrangement but requested a move as our room booking had indicated a walk in shower. Beware the older rooms - very hard beds, poor views and quite a depressing vibe. My review would be very different if we'd stayed in that room. The complex is looking a bit tired but renovations are occurring with the main entrance and pool out of action. Housekeeping could improve - towels weren't replaced one day and they didn't service our room the next. All up, the benefits outweigh the negatives with the Rendezvous. I'll be back to stay again in future!

Absolute Pleasure staying here and Highly Recommended. The staff are excellent. Food and drink in abundance downstairs below and the bus is at your doorstep taking you into Perth CBD in approx 40mins and they run every 15mins. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
