Lovely hotel and really Friendly staff, close to the train station and almost on top of the castle and grounds. Rooms were spacious and very clean with all the amenities you could want. Very close the shops, bars, restaurants and sight seeing spots. Well worth considering if your going to Himeji.

You stay at this hotel to take a bath and sleep, not a hotel to relax in the room

Toyoko Inn is always a great stay!

Great location near Himeji station. Friendly staff, great free breakfast, clean rooms included a small fridge, ice and coffee in the lobby all day, and at a great price.

Clean and bright, the rooms are quite spacious. Breakfast was plentiful with varied items. The hotel is close to the two train stations and, if you are a walker, close to castle and museums.

I accidentally booked smoking room and the staff were so kind to exchange it for me.

Staff was courteous. Breakfast was tasty. Location was convenient and in an interesting area. Room was large enough.

It was solid for a hostel the fact there’s large screens on the first floor video recording what’s happening in the elevators so everyone can see is a little weird

We stayed here for 1 night and it had everything you need (including breakfast!). Basic room, but extremely reasonably priced, so no complaints there! Also right by Himeji station, which is extremely convenient if you have a train the next day. Lovely pizza restaurant round the corner too. A few loud guests with kids running up and down the corridor in the evening, but they quietened before it was too late
