Perfect location, the staffs are very welcoming.

AMAZING location in the heart of Lisbon! Cute boutique hotel - we stayed in the Historic Room which was so charming. The bathroom was spacious compared to other European hotels we have stayed in! The only downside was the ceilings in the Historic room were pretty low so we kept hitting our heads accidentally. Overall a great experience and hotel!

What an incredible find in the heart of Lisbon! Such a wonderful boutique hotel! Very convenient -a great location. It was very well appointed, and the. breakfast was brilliant. The biggest thing for us was reception was staffed 24 hours per day. I hate HATE Airbnbs were have you to follow cryptic instructions to try and decipher the directions to get the key and enter your stay. The LIFT Boutique had a full time reception, and was happy to get extra towels, or explain in painstaking detail how to get on the wifi. Made our stay an absolute pleasure!

Pros: The location was amazing. Steps away from Rossio Square and the subway, as well as a lot of shopping, pastries and restaurants (catering to tourists, but ok for first time visitors). We were able to walk to many neighborhoods in Lisboa and it was easy to get to Belem and Sintra as well. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were able to get us in our room early on our first day after our red eye flight which was very much appreciated. Also the front desk staff was always super friendly. Room had air conditioning too. Staff always happy to refill water bottles from their filtration system Cons: A little bit of mold in the bathroom between tiles but not terrible. Unfortunately at the end of our stay, we saw a bed bug near the headboard of the bed. We were able to see other bed bugs at the bottom of the once the headboard and bed were moved. We discussed with the front desk staff and showed him some pictures. He was apologetic and quickly suggested we contact Expedia, and he helped make the process of a refund very easy for us. Unfortunately the damage was done and we had to deal with this at the end of our trip and discarding/sanitizing things when we got home. Hopefully it was a fluke and they can exterminate.
