A very nice retreat within easy driving distance to Mt Cook. Fantastic views of the surrounding area including the Southern Alps. Mary and Grant are very welcoming including deicing our car windows on a frosty morning.

No staff at check in at 5PM. Room heater did not work and bathroom heat lamp stopped working. Breakfast included was "cook your own eggs" and food left in refrigerator and counters.

We had a comfortable stay. The accommodation was exactly as shown in the photographs and true to the description. It was spacious, very comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stopover. A lovely surprise was the generous breakfast selection left in the kitchen/dining area for us to help ourselves to. ourssuch a convenient and appreciated touch

The room was huge and the host was so friendly! Huge kitchen and dining area. You could bring your own food or cook breakfast with food that was provided. Was fun watching a plane practicing.
