Breakfast is great. Lots of variety and very good. Dinner is good - interesting. Rooms are a bit quirky by US standards, but nice and clean. Great views. Good staff.

The Hotel was fantastic! The location is absolutely amazing -with the breathtaking view on Mount Fuji so we could enjoy Her Majesty magnificent presence every day. Staff were friendly, rooms -spacy and clean, breakfast and dinner were tasty. We highly recommend this hotel to travelers who are planning to spend few days in Five Lakes area.

Our stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They also provide pajamas/loungewear, which were extremely comfortable and a nice extra touch. We loved having a balcony with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji, especially in the morning and at sunset.
The onsen and public baths were relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the private onsens as well.
The location was peaceful and quiet, with gorgeous scenery all around. I highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel shuttle service to get to and from Kawaguchiko Station, as getting Ubers was more difficult than not, especially for a larger group.
The nearest FamilyMart and 7-Eleven are about a mile away, so the breakfast buffet is definitely worth adding to your stay. There was a wide variety of options, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, this was the best stay of all the places we visited in Japan. We would definitely stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko again.

Overall a good choice to visit fuji. Great views and friendly helpful staff. The location is a bit remote and a car is advisable. 4th room was large enough for a family and views from room are good. Food is reasonably good but set menu style so works only if you are flexible on diet options. Hotel style is unique, a bit rustic and less modern but is ok and they have free wine every evening.

Easy to get to, helpful transfer bus to and from Kawaguchi station and lovely rooms. The view of Mt Fuji from the bathtub is awesome! Breakfast is plentiful with enough for western travelers to enjoy. Free glass of wine and coffee in the lobby with a free snack was also great. We loved our 2 night stay here.
