Nice place, but a bit far from the sights and downtown.

If you are going in summer, go somewhere else... It was 30.5° and the place has no air conditioning, well let me correct that, they had a unit in my room, but when I lifted the panel the controls were broken out. Anytime I was in the room I was sweating, absolutely ridiculous. The woman at the front desk told me to open up the window, but the window opens to the busy, noisy street. I paid to have breakfast included and it was terrible, I didn't even bother going down for breakfast the 2nd day it was so bad. I will never book there again.

Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. I couldn’t fault there helpful attention to every request. Explained the local bus services well, provided a map and arranged for a taxi to the train station at 5 am. It’s not in the city centre but close enough for a short bus ride.( just tap & go/ don’t tap off) The room was ideal, not the perfect outlook but you’re not here to sit in your room. The bathroom was clean but a little tired. The electrics were a little challenging but got there in the end. Air conditioning was temperamental. Even when it was off (on the thermostat) it was providing heat ??? Also be mindful there are steep stairs to reception which maybe an issue for some. As a base for a few nights ( if you don’t mind the stairs to reception) this was an ideal place to stay .

Extremely helpful, provided a map with bus routes to take and enjoy the city. Breakfast was delicious. Many restaurants nearby, there is also a great little gelato spot around the corner. Loved this place.

Property is well maintained. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an elevator but it starts from level 1 not ground.

An absolute gem of a hotel. About 20-30 minutes on the bus from the centre. Oh and the bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the front door. Every member of staff was just lovely - nothing was too much trouble. My only negative is the steep staircase to get from the front door to the reception. Hard work with a heavy suitcase.

Super cute little place. No elevators and plenty of stairs. As a family of 4 we did not like that 2 beds were sofa beds and extremely uncomfortable. We had to request another mattress be put on top. The breakfast room is very tiny. About 3 tables and you need to book a time to eat and very unlikely you get the time you want. Our room had "2" bathrooms, but not really. 1 bathroom had a toilet and shower, the other had a sink and a shower. Very odd. I would only recommend if there were only 2 of us going.

Beautiful old building completely restored. Great decor. Great price. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly. Great restaurant next door that was lively and beautiful.

The staff was incredible. The breakfast and comfort of the rooms were perfect. The location to central Florence, a few restaurants, gelato, supermarket and the bus were so convenient. Definitely recommend
