少しがっかり This property smelled of mould, musty and dampness. Clearly there is a major water issue. Also when checking in they wanted to take a “bond” of $2k (6 night stay) for the mini bar which maybe had a total of $100 of drinks and snacks in it. The lady checking us in was incredibly rude. Offered us an “upgrade” for more than double what we had originally paid for the accommodation. The whole experience was extremely off putting and we won’t be back.

The hotel is well maintained in a great neighborhood close to the train and shopping but for a Marriot, US Corporate, they are not up to par with making things easy for English speaking customers, they try for sure but some people don’t have the patience. I stayed at a lot of W across the globe and love their breakfast, this one again not focused at all on the North America clients, if you love a good Chinese breakfast I am sure it is delicious but I was not impressed as a Westerner
