Stay SAKURA Kyoto 四条烏丸 (Stay SAKURA Kyoto Shijo Karasuma)

Close to metro station and bus stops, as well as in Nishiki market. Also, walkable to grocery and to the mall. Good size room for our family of 4. Will definitely come back. I love how they have washer available to use. The only thing was, they should put more plates available to use for their guests.

Laundry is a combination washer and spin dryer. You need to hang your clothes for them to completely dry. Found an empty water bottle and a piece of clothing from the previous gest on the floor between the bed and wall. Bathroom was very clean.

Bus stop at the door means easy and quick access to Kyoto Station. In room laundry meant i was able to bring just 3-4 days of clothes for my 10 day trip. There's a park 2 min north of the hotel where I got to meet a couple of nice Brazilians living / working in Japan. The closest convenience store is a little further away about 5 minutes walk north to the main street. Subway is further away probably 15 minutes so be prepared to walk. There were 4 of us so we ended up taking a lot of taxi for around 1000 yen per trip to/from major attractions like kyomizudera or nishiki market, even kyoto station. the in room kitchen was clutch as well as we were able to cook a couple meals of wagyu from the supermarket on the cheap. we had to buy paper bowls though as the two plates they had were too shallow... but the pots and pans they supplied were great.

Such a perfect stay! At first we were concerned because there isn’t a dryer. No worries - just hang it in the bathroom and push the “dryer” button. Worked like a charm. They provide all the towels, soaps, shampoos and slipper - plus toothbrush/paste and brush if you need it. We just came from Tokyo and figured we’d have another small place but this place had so much room PLUS an elevator. And the staff was super friendly. We would definitely stay at this chain, given our awesome experience here. Domo Arigato for very clean, comfortable and well planned accommodations! Also - there’s a bus stop right outside your door to take you to the Kyoto station (perfect for when you’re traveling by backpacking lol!)

The room was in a perfect area to get to everything we needed. Spacious for the 3 days we stayed. Conbini and bus stops were walking distance. Restaurant/bar right across the street and othera within walking distance. We loved it. Thank you!

It was clean, the bathtub was nice. Make sure you check in before 9pm.

- sofa have stain - told the front desk we so not want house keeping, but they did it anyway - given a smaller size room when i paid for a larger one - sewage smell from the kitchen / washer machine

Location is okay. A bit of a walk to the main area and takes about the same amount of time by bus. No bowls provided in apartment, which we would have liked.

Clean room. Welcoming staff. Shops near by and places to eat. Bus close for travel to Kyoto Station.
