From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found a little oasis. Peaceful, with helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. The place is walking distance from the mayhem of the main Ubud attractions. The associated cafe (Gluten free on Bisma) has a small but great menu, very tasty local dishes. We will definitely be back!!!

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was delicious.

Breakfasts Brought to the room after making selection the night before. Greatest choice of items all freshly done and delicious. Fabulous room with 4 poster bed all cottages very private around the beautiful grounds. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help you and make your stay perfect.

My family and I stayed here for approximately two weeks and booked three rooms. From the moment we arrived, our experience was very pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were consistently very clean, well maintained, and spacious enough for a long stay, which made a big difference for our family. The staff truly stood out during our visit. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. Unfortunately, after about five days in Bali, I became ill. During that time, the staff were exceptionally supportive and compassionate. They helped me feel at ease and were even willing to arrange a doctor for me, which I deeply appreciated. Their kindness and professionalism during a stressful situation meant a lot to us. Overall, our stay was excellent, and the level of service made it even more memorable. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this place to families or anyone looking for a comfortable and caring environment.

The villa is in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance of central Ubud. It was spacious and well equipped, making our stay comfortable.

I think the resort was great in its prime, it is showingbits age now

Samas cottages was a great place to stay in Ubud. It was tucked away from the main street but easy walking distance to the main street to all the restaurants. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was great and served on our veranda in the mornings. The villa was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Pool area was nice. Great that we were able to swim in the evenings after a busy day. Would recommend this as a great value place to stay. Would stay here again if in Ubud.

I really question the cleanliness. If you want a quiet room, book the regular rooms instead of the villas that are right infront of a bar that plays loud music until about 11 pm
