VERY FRIENDLY STAFF GOOD LOCATION CLEANER HOTEL

The staff is so kind and helpful. There was not anything that I did not like about this hotel.

My stay was over 17 days/nights while on business and despite a very heavy and intense work schedule, I could not have had a better and nicer stay. The hotel is very modern, extremely clean, the maid service is excellent, WIFI works quite well, the business center is convenient, and the breakfast is quite tasty with a very large choice and high quality of food. Additionally, the hotel has an excellent location in the south of Bishkek off a main south-north street - equally not far from the center of the city and the mountains while also with the airport easily accessible. But without a doubt the element of my stay that stands out in my mind is how the hotel staff are incredibly professional, accommodating, and friendly. Finally, the price of the hotel is very reasonable and I would rate the value/experience to price of the stay at this hotel to greatly exceed that of staying in more expensive hotels in Bishkek. In short, this hotel is a great and winning choice and any traveler will be most happy with making it their choice for any length of stay.

I very much enjoyed my stay at City Hotel Bishkek. I originally booked two nights, but stayed an additional two. Upon arrival, I was given Room 607 -- request it if you can, as it has amazing views of the mountains to the south when the sky is clear enough. (When I extended my stay, I had to move done a floor....okay mountain views from there, but less dramatic. Any lower and there probably isn't any view at all). The staff was incredibly nice with lots of good English spoken. When I checked out, the receptionist actually seemed sad! Breakfast is incredible here with so many options, including (one some days) things like salmon kebabs. My room was pretty plain, but large and comfortable. The bed was new and made for a great sleep. WiFi worked pretty well throughout. There is a small gym but it only has treadmills. There is a sauna too, though I didn't try it. The location is off a main street in the south of the city, in a lively area, with plenty of markets and restaurants to walk to. A big mall is a 15 minute walk away. You can walk to the center in 40 minutes or you can take the No. 10 tram for a few cents. It is comfortable and frequent. (If you take the tram, enter to the back and then pay the driver 8 som when you exit.) Taxis are also cheap and easily available.
