Great location, easy walk to the beach, walking distance to surf club and restaurants. Surf club was excellent for view and food. Pool areas were nice, heated pool was still cool in winter.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it just seems a little tired this time. The Furniture is old and I feel it is overpriced for what I paid Location is always fantastic

There are quite a few apartment blocks within the Oaks complex. It took us a few minutes to find the reception as it's tucked at the back. Had to call the night manager as we were told we would be texted the key safe code, after advising we probably would be arriving just after reception had closed. We didn't receive the code which was just a bit annoying. The car park space (for room 302) was extremely tight, between two pillars. Luckily our car is mid size but it's a squeeze to get in. Just something to note if you have a large 4WD. Neither bathroom had a hand towel. Not a big deal but it was just unusual. Other than that, a nice spacious, clean apartment that had everykthing we needed.

I normally always stay here at the Oaks but this rom I was in this time was the worst and oldest one I've ever stayed in .. I know they are mostly individually owned but this one really needs to be done up.. is in the first of the Oaks buildings Aleutian and only had one tv in a 2 brm apartment and didn't even have the nice soft plush blankets that the Oaks normally has,I had to ask for some and they weren't those blankets.. was clean and comfortable thou but really needs a makeover
