We stayed at Hotel Monterey for 2 nights. Excellent location. Short walk to the subway station, convenient stores, shopping and restaurants. Clean room. We’re a family of 3, our room had 3 beds which made the room very tight and had no space for our luggages. We called the front desk to remove one of the beds so we can have room for our bags. They were reluctant at first but eventually assisted us. The public bath (onsen) was a great amenity. The refreshments and water in the fridge were complimentary. Great price for a 4-star hotel.

Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices. Onsen nice, clean, relaxing after a long day sightseeing

The room was quite small and compared to the other 3 hotels we stayed at in our trip to Japan this was by far the worst. The room was outdated, and very small (I traveled with 3 others so they packed 4 beds into 1 room lined side by side) along with the beds not being the cleanest. The people there are nice and helpful along with the bath house was nice but nothing special.

Horrible condition.

We loved this location and Sauna.

The room was clean and well maintaines. The staff were very helptful and extremely profesional. I highly recommand this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located between Tenjin (about .5. miles) and Hakata Station (about .9 miles), close to Watanabe doori station exit and one end of Tenjin Underground. The room is large and very clean. Breakfast is good, but the menu doesn't change much each day. There is a bath and sauna on the 3rd floor (free of charge)

It is on the busy shopping area. If you like shopping, ithis is a good choice.
