Oscar and Herve are amazing. Oscar really truly went above and beyond to help us out after our airline did us dirty. It's a great hotel in a great location and I will definitely be staying again.

I found the location of the New Stein to be good for me. You are in walking distance of the Royal Pavilion, the Brighton Pier and The Laines. It was also easy to get to the Seven Sisters from New Stein - I just had to walk down the end of the street and catch the Coaster 12 bus to the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre.
I also found it handy that you could buy breakfast and dinner (limited menu) at the hotel.

The staff were welcoming from arrival, a lovely bright clean room and close to all amenities, wonderful choice for breakfast.

良い The staff were friendly and responsive but there were a couple of basic things that should’ve been better. The sink was not working in the bathroom (!) and the sink in my bedroom was partially blocked. I mentioned both and they said they would look at the latter but it wasn’t fixed. The door also constantly slams - there is a notice on one side telling guests not to let it do so but it should be on the other side and/or fixed so it doesn’t.

The staff were amazing. We had a late arrival and they were great about that. They also made an early breakfast for us when we had to be out vert early on one of the mornings. The breakfast itself was also very good. Lots of food and very tasty.
