Good safe parking at the rear of building
Clean bedding and bathroom ✅
Needs an update and tidy
Not bad facility for price
Quaint, just needs a refresh and less clutter, quircky, and a softer bed
Was clean though and safe.

Pros:
- Free parking in the back
- Fairly central location, walking distance to the city center
- Comfortable bed
- Tea kettle and mini fridge
Cons:
- Low price quality ratio - overpriced for the amenities
- Beaten-up amenities - musty smell in the hallways, creaking floors
- Tiny bathroom

I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent).
The cleanliness is inconsistent.
The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included.
The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch.
The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink.
I would never recommend it to anyone.

Comfy old fashioned furniture, but lots of stairs to the top rooms. Secure parking behind a gate was great. An unusual place to stay.
