Absolutely Lovely Family Run Boutique Hotel The family are lovely and could not be more helpful! Jo,Pete and Sally made us feel so welcome from greeting us on our arrival to organising a lovely breakfast! The location has stunning views over the surrounding countryside with the mountains framing the picture ! Beautiful!

Loved staying at Matuka - breakfast was wonderful, the ground were beautiful, location was convenient, and the room was so clean and comfortable. The weather was quite rainy while we stayed there and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to relax and still enjoy a nice view. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone staying in Twizel!!

We had such a lovely, relaxing time at Matuka Lodge. Luxury accommodation with a family vibe, so friendly and welcoming. Everything was wonderful, highly recommend this gem!

Guy was a wonderful host, made a great fruitcake. The honor bar was nice after a day of riding bicycle. A convenient location to the Alps to Ocean cycle trail with very clean accommodations and a great breakfast.

A great foundation for the nearby Mount Cook area as well as adjacent to the Pelennor Fields battle scene from LOTR The Return of the King. Delicious breakfast, easy parking, very clean, lovely area and spacious extremely comfortable rooms. Six stars!

A lovely place, the rooms are beautiful and well maintained, our room was on the banks of a small lake with a great view, Mel, the landlady, is nice and makes every effort to make you feel good.Very recommended!!
