WiFi did not work for 3 days. Need to get better pillows and mattresses. The shower is really small like 3 ft by 3 ft. No real air conditioning, just a portable A/C but my other room had a fan only. Housekeeping said they do not change out sheets during your stay, even though I tipped in advance before asking the sheets to be changed.

I booked this as I wanted a place with enough space for my family with laundry. There is NO laundry. This is false advertising. The place was a 5 min walk from the main area. There is construction right behind the building which I was not notified of. Jackhammers start at exactly 7am and last all day. There is no AC which we knew about but the 3 fans that were in the apartment barely move air. The sliding patio door in one of the bedrooms is broken so can’t open and it is like a sauna in there. The blinds let in as much light as possible. There is one electric plug per room. The leg of the kitchen table was broken so we couldn’t safely use the table. The shower curtain in the high bathtub didn’t work well. The shower head needs to be pointed directly down or else water floods the bathroom floor as you can tell by the rotten bottom of the bathroom door. There is no circulation in bathroom so the ceiling paint is peeling off. The patio is asphalt surface so you can’t sit outside without shoes on. I know Lucerne is expensive but book elsewhere!

Yes I could have booked a hotel closer or at city center but for more money $$$. The Galaxy apartment was actually about 15 - 20 minutes walking distance to city center or a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which dropped us off right in front of the train station. I must say that the there was no air conditioning and only a couple of vertical fans which really didn't help much considering Lucerne was experiencing a heat wave during our stay. I really hope they can invest in some split air conditioning system for future guests. Other than that, it was perfect for our two day stay.

No AC , That was the only problem we face.

While this property boasts a great location close to Chapel Bridge and a lovely 15-to-20-minute evening walk from the train station—the actual accommodations were below average. The space provides only the bare minimum and feels entirely uninviting. We found the floors to be wet and sticky upon arrival, the window curtains broken, and the Wi-Fi incredibly slow. The sofa bed was also broken and very uncomfortable to sleep on. Safety was our main concern: the kitchen handrail is broken, and the shower leaks water all over the bathroom floor, creating a major slipping hazard when trying to navigate the stairs in the dark at night. Lastly, since it was hot, we had to keep the windows open, but constant secondhand smoke from the neighbors made it difficult to get fresh air.

The wifi was very patchy , pretty much wasn't working . the life/elevator was too small . the flat was a bit run down

The apartment is as basic as it gets. More comparable to a youth hostel. On the positive it was fine to accommodate for a family of four and conveniently close to Chapel Bridge. However, the bed and bathroom are very basic. The bathroom needs updating as there was peeling paint on the ceiling and door. I Kitchen functional but basic. Only four bath towels provided. No hand towels. Elevator was broken on our exit where we had to carry luggage and bags for a family of four down five flights of stairs. If you’re only staying in Lucern for a day, it is fine. But more than a day, I would reconsider.

Great location. Easy to walk to shopping, train and bus. Check in smooth and property manager very helpful. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in. Nice space. Only negative was the bath tub was very slippery and slightly raised off the ground so you had to be very careful. No AC but that seems to be common in Europe. Fans were provided

A number of repairs needed: kitchen sink faucet, stuck bathroom door, door handle fell out, screens in the windows (bugs at night). Otherwise the location in Lucerne was good - a few blocks from the river. The outside of the building needs cleanup and a lighted entryway for guests to feel safer.

The property met all of our expectations.
