When we arrived they hadn't got a room for us despite reservation, however they did sort this for us but it wasn't the type of room we booked. Convenient for Disney and we loved the pool for the kids. The rooms are run down but practical

Has every thing you need for hotel with the kids. Room are just standard but the pool , arcades , bars and restaurants are spot on. Soft play too

Hotel is ok. Room works for 5-6 with adults and kids. Bar and food facilities are poor. Hard to get a drink and it’s expensive. They closed the pool from 4.30-6 which is very annoying when you want a break from the parks. Busses work fine but can get packed which is also ok.

I absolutely loved all the amenities for kids. The outdoor and indoor playgrounds were really great. My kids loved the arcade games and the bowling space was a great feature. The highlight is of the stay was definitely the waterpark slides. I loved that across the pool the water was relatively kid friendly and never too deep. The hotel space itself is a little outdated but seeing how much fun my kids had in all the available activities was absolutely worth it.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Great healthy options, I really enjoyed the Greek yogurt and all the different seeds. The pool was fantastic for the kids and open til late so it was nice to enjoy it after a long day at Disneyland. Overall great hotel & definitely recommend!

Great amount of activities and spacious rooms

Visited explorers back in 2019 for the first time and although it’s not the most fancy hotel it was clean, fresh and good for money but returning this year I was so disappointed! The hotel smells like a sweaty play zone you would take your kids too run around, the transfer bus takes forever and everyone is desperate for the bus it’s like the titanic! I have a 6 month baby and was feeding him while on the bus, and I had to tell someone can they stop pushing as I am holding a baby. Will not be returning only will stay at Disney on site now as we got taxis 3 times instead of the shuttle as it’s awful experience! Holidays are supposed to be relaxing this was chaos and I’ve been to Disney many times.

We had a free fresh and varied continental breakfast available every morning. The themed swimming pool and soft play was very popular with the children. The bedrooms were clean and fun. We had an overall lovely experience there and would definitely return, it’s so close to Disneyland with a free shuttle bus. Only thing which was a bit of a negative was dinner at the Captain’s Library restaurant, overall a poor experience with poor quality food and not great customer service, it was too expensive for what we got- I would not recommend this restaurant.
