The hotel is in an ideal location, 5 minutes from La Scala and 10 minutes from Brera. And, the hotel is gorgeous and historic. But what made the hotel really stand out was the staff: helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone at the hotel—from the concierge to the front desk personnel to the bellmen—went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. I can’t recommend the hotel enough.

Jerry's bar was excellent. Great choice of wines & cocktails. Gratis h'ordeuvres were provided, including pickled baby peaches which were a first for us. I had lunch, too. The service was impeccable and the food excellent, especially the eggplant parmigiana. We had dinner in Caruso's. The chef was able to orchestrate a vegan and vegetarian tasting menu. The sommelier honored our request to provide options for each of the wine pairings. We were able to taste two wines and choose the one we preferred. Again, the service is impeccable.

Charismatic historic hotel in a wonderful position in Milan.
The rooms are classic designed with modern amenities, comfortable and functional.
The staff were all very friendly, courteous and and polite.
The service from reception to the restaurant and bar was a credit to the hotel. The concierge service was tremendous and we would like to thanks Sergio for arranging a taxi for our party from the hotel to the airport at very short notice.

Visit the Verdi Suite if you can. Excellent stay close to La Scala and Quadrilatero.

The hotel was a beautiful, well maintained historic hotel. The staff couldn’t have been nicer.
My only negative was the bathroom. Very small and no place to put toiletries.
