The breakfast was more varieties than I had expected. The laundry room is also very convenient.

Whenever I visited Kaohsiung, I stayed at Royal Group Hotel Minghua Branch because the hotel's location is wonderful, the room is clean, the breakfast is fantastic and features Taiwanese cuisine , the air conditioning is quiet, and the staff members are friendly and helpful. I feel right at home while staying at the hotel. It is highly recommended.

The reception lady seems to dislike tourist from China or HK. She is very impolite to us during check in and check out.

The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was heavily leaning towards Taiwanese, but I enjoyed it. The only gripe I have about the hotel is that there was no housekeeping for the two days I stayed there.

Very close to night market and shopping mall, also supermarkets nearby, convenient for groceries. Staff service acceptable but not very sincere, can make improvement

Room was available earlier and was allowed to check-in early without additional fees

Property was dated and needs a reno to modernize rooms. In our room, the wall paper was peeling off the walls, couch and pillows for the couch looked dirty/unsanitary. Bathroom was very dirty - grout was black, mold in the shower, water did not drain properly in the shower. Room door was too close to bathroom so it was hard to get in. Also frustrating was there wasn't any plugs beside the beds. Free laundry and big beds were nice.
