Being able to walk on the beach in 20 seconds is an absolute dream! We had such a wonderful stay here and Shirahama is such a cute town! The hotel was wonderful for our family of 4 with kids sleeping on traditional futons and two large twins available for us! There are partitions to separate the rooms. My only slight issue was wanting the futon room to be more blackout as the sun rises early! The housekeeping doesn’t clean everyday but they do drop off amenities. The hotel breakfast was wonderful highly recommend the buffet as most places aren’t open early.

The Shiraraiso Grand Hotel is a lovely property situated right on the beautiful beach! We had a giant room with a great view. The staff is attentive and helpful (and we needed a fair amount of support!). Shirahama is a great city and there's a lot to see and do. Hot springs public foot baths; a cooking spring; the underwater observation tower; a museum with amazing views from the roof; sandstone cliffs; Entetsu arch...and the hotel has the most delicious soft serve ice cream! Breakfast buffet was impressive with both omelet station and onigiris being made on the spot. Delicious Wakayama citrus and ume.

Un emplacement exceptionnel! J’ai tout aimé de cet hôtel; la chambre, la vue sur la plage, la gentillesse des employés, les kunatas, le buffet déjeuner, bref tout!
Le soucis des details est incroyable! Je vais revenir c’est certain.

The property location and views from the hotel rooms are fabulous. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful, even to English-speaking travellers. The building is a bit dated but still very nice. We enjoyed the experience of the set dinners even if we weren't adventurous enough to try every course. Our kids loved sleeping on futons, running around the playground by the beach, and going to the onsens. It's easy to take the public bus around the area and IC cards are now accepted for fare payment, contrary to info on the bus website.

房間很大及整潔，前台職員非常有禮，溫泉浴場非常乾淨，泉水夠熱。自助早餐質素非常高，雖然種類不是太多，但都很足夠而且每樣味道都非常好。

Great hotel location, directly on the beach & superbe view of the ocean from the room.
The hotel room could use a little update, but it was quaint and clean.
The staff was very helpful with diner reservations & questions.
The breakfast was outstanding!!!
