We loved staying here on a working farm. It was very peaceful and really interesting to see the rare cattle breeds with new-born calves. Breakfasts were delicious. Easy to get to the beautiful New Forest and the coast is not far away.

Janet was a great host.
The room was simply superb, beautifully appointed. A lovely old farm house.
Nice to be in the country which was so peaceful.
The breakfast was wonderful.

What a lovely place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Janet and her husband couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. The icing on the cake was a calf born that night which we were able to see the following morning. Thank you.

The property and location were lovely. We were welcomed by the owner of the property.
Everything was prepared and clean. The room was lovely with beautiful views across the country side. We had tea/coffee and biscuits supplied in the rooms with fresh milk.
The breakfast was all fresh. Cooked breakfast available in whatever format you requested.
The only negative was the shower facilities. The shower was in the bath and hand held. There was no bracket to hold the shower head. Also there was no screen or shower curtain.

This is a lovely farmhouse bed & breakfast, Janet (farmers wife) made tasty breakfasts with options to suit everyone's taste. We had fresh milk when we needed it for in room drinks and were able to get ice for evening drinks. One word of advise, this not a hotel so don't expect hotel services. Would I stay there again, yes most definately.

Our stay at Thorps Farm was excellent. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Janet was pleasant and the perfect host. We would definitely recommend and stay again
