We have been going here for many years always have felt comfortable and looked after. the 1st room we had was a bit shabby seemed to be in the young families area. the floor of the bathroom needed a lot of deep cleaning. the lounge was worn out and needed replacing. We were moved to another room because I found the shower in the bath hard to get up to. the staff were fantastic at helping this happen. The bathroom floor again needed a good clean. there was also an outside little deck area thats needed a sweep, there was leaf litter that had not been clean up for a long time. Staff are lovely. We will return as it is so nice to be somewhere you can just relax without driving to do things.

Stayed for two nights. Limited eating options mid week as we were told that Embers restaurant was all that was open. There was a communication problem as the Hotel staff didn’t seem to know about dinner being available at associated Golf Club ( lucky it was State of Origin football night so special catering was available). We enjoyed our stay and had a very large room but hotel is getting a bit dated. There is an additional $15 per night charge to park your car (usually a distance from the entrance).

Wonderful hotel. As soon as you walk in the hotel the lobby is beautiful and everything about the hotel from there is so lovely. So many things to do throughout the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone

The experience overall was nice. It is a little dated and general wear and tear. It is definitely a good place for families with children. The kids were running up and down the hall ways and running around the foyer. Not a great location for people without kids

Stayed 1 night. Service was great. Hotel and facilities was clean however needs updating. Outdoor parking which is abit inconvenient if rains. Breakfast budget was great.

I recently stayed at Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains for one night over a holiday weekend with my family. At over $700 for a single room, I expected a premium experience. Unfortunately, the reality fell well short of the price tag. The issues started at check-in. We arrived and were told our room wasn't ready and that we would receive a text when it became available. No text ever came. After returning to the front desk after 3pm, we were told concierge would have our key. Concierge had neither our room key nor our bags, so we had to return to the front desk yet again before finally receiving access to our room. The room itself was extremely disappointing. It felt tired, dated, and poorly maintained. The king bed didn't even have properly fitted sheets. The paintwork was worn, the carpet appeared dirty, and the bathroom was in particularly poor condition. The showerhead looked decades old, and the bathroom tiles were visibly affected by black mould. This is not what I'd expect from a hotel charging premium holiday rates. We also requested an extra sheet or blanket for the fold-out bed and were told there would be a $60 charge. I can understand charging for additional bedding when bringing in a cot or extra bed, but charging that amount for a simple blanket when guests are already paying such extraordinary room rates felt unreasonable.
