I booked this room for my daughter and son-in-law. When they showed up, they were told there had not been a working AC for 2 weeks! The initial employee was helpful and kind and did offer a fan or a cancellation but at the last moment there were very few choices. So they took the fan and got by and would’ve been ok but when they asked another employee about breakfast were dismissively told “I don’t know if we’re even doing that!”

We arrived on Thursday and were told the air was broken in the building that it would be fixed on Friday we left on Sunday morning no air still in the room or building…the Colorado air was nice so we were like we can handle it. It’s going to be fine we can sleep with the sliding balcony open…they put us on the 2nd floor above the entrance so everyone coming in or out and talking we could hear it all. The pool stayed closed the entire time although it looked pretty and functional. This may have been a nice place in the 80s but save your coins and go elsewhere unless they make some major updates.

Unfortunately the Air Conditioning was broke, but the staff worked with me to use a fan to bring cool air in in the evening. The rooms were clean. They restaurant food was incredible the last time I stayed but was unfortunately closed the night I stayed this time over a holiday. It was cheap and the staff is great.

The hotel was nice but they had no tea!! Without the Boston Tea Party! The other problem was the air conditioning had failed. We were notified ahead of time but decided to stay anyway since we would only be there in the evenings and I was given a discount on my price. However we decided to leave Colorado Springs to head north instead if staying an extra day.

Get there and the air conditioner doesnt work in the whole building would have been nice for a call from the hotel so we could make other accommodations if needed but drove 16 hours to get here and no other options at the moment ... hallways smell and the staff was nice and some what accommodating with a fan thankfully the night was cool enough to sleep only spent one night here but wouldn't stay again

So much potential for a throwback motel. Cooling system was out for the whole property and they didn't bother to tell anybody. Needs some updating in general. But no air conditioning in 90 degree weather and not announcing it and making no apologies.

The hotel was cute and unique. My only complaint is there was no AC and we were not told it did not work and were not given any kind of discount. It was in the 90s while we were staying and miserably hot in the room.

Quite a dated property. The air conditioning in the rooms appears adjustable, though the temperature never changed. The room was slightly on the warm side. When I arrived to my room, the coffee machine was turned on which seems dangerous. The hallways are extremely warm and have odd, unpleasant odors.
