Love it

Excellent

The property is very Northwestern. Loved it. Love all the wood decor. Room was spacious, walk-in shower was large. Disappointed that pool was closed and restaurant was pricey.

This was our third stay at the Heathman Lodge. Our first two stays were wonderful, so when in need of a hotel in the Vancouver WA area we immediately booked the Heathman. Check-In was great, they even gave us a bottle of wine! But the next day we were away from our room most of the day and returned at night. There was no maid service! All our towels were used and left on floor where we had left them, trash wasn't emptied and bed wasn't made. I tried to call to the front desk, but room phone didn't work. Went down to front desk and was told we had to request maid service. I said why weren't we informed, and desk person said they should of told us at check-in. Check-In person did give me clean towels for the room. We then put on our swim suits and went to indoor pool and found it was closed for repairs. No one mentioned that as well.

Clean room, comfy bed, good food options, lovely staff very professional and an overall good stay and great location. The hotel had planned maintenance that was not shared on their site, this negatively impacted our stay. The hotel also has weekend live music that has their entire front valet/loading zone blocked 24/7. When live music is Friday and Saturday, Not ideal when it rains non stop. Recommend they open up the front of their hotel for convenience for all of their customers.

Would not stay here again. My first room smelled terribly of rancid, moldy carpet, and possibly urine, forcing a room change. The amenities were a bust – the gym was closed for repair and pool hours were very shortened. The hotel is sorrowfully aged. The hotel overcharged my Expedia booked rate and tacked on an undisclosed early checkout fee that they refused to wave. Between a shady billing and poor conditions, I will not return.

It is a really cool place, esp if you like the feel of lodges (Timberline. etc.). Rooms also feel lodgeish! Clean. Free espressos was a nice touch too.

It was recommended to me and it was just the way they said. Comfortable, restaurant was great.

The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The restaurant was very good. I wish the pool and hot tub was open later.
