The only thing was food trays were outside of other rooms on the floor and were they almost the entire day.. the staff was great! The room was clean

Super clean and near everything.

Easy to access, the valet is on L street. Everyone was kind, check in was quick. Loved the pool area. Quick service whenever we called for something. Would stay here again

Never been to a Hard Rock property before but booked 4 nights because I was attending the Coursedog conference. I will not recommend to conference organizers that they use this venue in the future. -Upon arrival, I saw 4 younger adults in gray T-shirts outside, laughing amongst themselves. I assumed that one of them might offer to help with the 3 suitcases and 2 bags that my wife and I had. No such luck. -Upon checking in, I asked if I could leave 2 bags in the lobby for a minute so I could help my wife with her bags. I was told that I would need some “ticket” to do so. I told them I would just handle it myself. -In our suite, the air conditioning was consistently a problem. The living room was always too warm and the bedroom much colder. While asleep, the AC blew directly on us. This alone made my wife ready to leave the hotel. Since I was there for the conference, we were stuck. -What modern hotel still offers only tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to two people for a four-night stay? -It took THREE messages / calls to receive more of these items, plus basic things like toilet paper. The fact that getting SOAP and TOILET PAPER is a problem at a branded property in Downtown San Diego is incredible. -Several conference attendees thought it was ridiculous that at an educational technology conference, the WiFi didn't work in some meeting rooms. -In the plus column, I will say that the overall conference set-up was excellent and the food was great.

Love the check in staff they were super helpful

Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were great, nice weight room and pool. Staff was very friendly. The only parking was valet, so we chose to park at an underground public lot a block away and saved a bit.

The location was amazing close to tons of restaurants, bars and Petco stadium. Will definitely stay there again.
