Reception area was nice and modern , locate good. But the room was a let down , booked a superior room but think a got a basic room on 2nd floor . Mould in bathroom , shower over bath with table cloth like towels , never come across these before very thin and shiny and no fluffy towels. Did ask what room I had been give but receptionist lady wasn't quite sure at first yes it's a superior room. No, it's not a superior room yes, it is. I don't usually write a review, but this room was a total letdown after all the good reviews Iv read hence that why I choose this hotel . Just beware room 228 . Guy in the morning at check out was more helpful and said he would have given us another room , but after previous lady at reception would t we throw our case in and when out for the evening .

Easy check in. Friendly staff, great location from Termini.

The staff was amazing and kind from check in to check out and even at breakfast. Their breakfast was the best of all the hotels I stayed at in Italy since they offered a wide variety of options and servers were attentive. The room felt a little dated, especially the bathroom. I also didn’t like that the windows were all facing each other and felt like someone could easily climb through. Otherwise, I’d still recommend this hotel

Poor condition. Room was stuffy and has no light. Very hot with no AC.

Just be vigilant

Everything was great, hotel room was hot and it was difficult for staff to turn it down.

The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. There was a small lack of plug sockets but the bathroom was nice and spacious as well as the hotel being located in a fantastic area.

The hotel fas fine, not very quiet as we could hear the room nextdoor and outside noise was quite high as the window wasn't very modern. The location was perfect for getting around the city, the entrance was very nice and staff were great. All in all though I wouldn't say it was 4* as advertised.

Conveniently close to train station in Rome and Hop on Hop off bus. Lots of restaurants nearby. Travelling alone and felt safe in the area.

My stay at the Hotel Ariston was ok, primarily due to its location just a stone's throw from Roma termini, making it a perfect base for exploring. The hotel has a eco theme. The rooms feel a little dated and while the rooms are compact, they are very clean and functional, you're really paying for the location. Outside at night may feel a little sketchy for some. There are lot of people hanging about at night that may not have other places to go. The staff were average. Not rude but not overly helpful (or didn't give the feeling of helpfulness). I would think about staying here again for a convenient location.
