Room cleanliness was OK, WIFI was abysmal - had to hot spot laptop to phone for any use. First two nights of a three night stay were ok noise wise, but on the last night when the adjacent room was occupied got absolutely no sleep due to constant talking by the immediate neighbour all night. The room had a shared doorway (was locked) to the adjacent room which maybe a reason it was so noisy? I would recommend checking with Hotel that it doesn't share a neighbouring doorway and hence noise issues before booking a room.

Very tidy unit with all the amenities you need. Restaurant on-site also serves decent food. Especially convenient location if you need to be close to Nelson Public Hospital.

The TV only had Channel 2; a political channel, a sport channel and one movie … no standard TV1 or TV3 or anything like that (had 2 TVs) and both were the same. The Air Con didn’t work properly and both the system and TVs are really old. Hotel is now becoming tired and there is no longer an access to a gym. The restaurant is still good - but they don’t “stock” trim milk for coffee which is odd. Hotel hasn’t been updated much and has really gone downhill over time. Have stayed multiple times each year but am going to look for something else from now on.
