This place badly needs renovating. Everything feels old, worn out, and poorly maintained. For the price they charge, it's just not good enough. The bed only had a sheet on it with no duvet or proper blanket, even though it is nearly winter and the bathroom window wouldn't shut because the handle was broken. The TV didn't even work, and the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect at all. The room also wasn't very clean. There were empty packets and opened soap bars left in the drawers from previous guests. Overall, this motel feels neglected and run down. There are better motels right next door for a similar price, so I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This was once a really good motel that I used to recommend. NOT ANY MORE. Rats, mice, ants, flies, broken and chipped tiles, paint flaking off, furnishings broken or rotting, the shower flooded (not draining properly) scum came out of the shower drainage and then I slipped and fell, tv didn't work. And for another room. No TVs worked. Spa pool full of stagnant water and mosquitos. Sadly no refund. The bed was comfy though and the air con worked. But I would not recommend this at all anymore and will never go back.

Staff was great reception guy was so helpful

We booked the accommodation for an Australian guest as it was close to Auckland Showgrounds. However upon his arrival at the Motel he was offered a room that was substantially below normal standards and was greeted by a number of cockroaches upon opening the door. Needless to say that alternative accommodation was found elsewhere even though 5 nights had been prepaid which apparently is non-refundable. Certainly wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would have liked real milk in the fridge and some toiletries such as body wash and shampoo.

As always, the staff were so amazing.

Room had a weird smell and the floor was sticky and the spa pool outside was horrible with pest. Staffs were friendly thou. Easy to locate shops nearby. Parking was okay.

Low maintenance low quality rooms good enough for 1-2 night stay
