Fantistic views of the lake from the 2nd floor. Receptionist was very friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfy. We just had problems getting the shower to the right temperature.

Rooms were really good. Front staff were very welcoming. Whole vibe & ambiance is so cosy & warmth. It look more good than in actual than picture listed. What a great experience. Hotel Godley ll be my forever favourite whenever I came back in Tekapo. The restaurant inside is so beautiful. Good on you team.

Apart from the location overlooking Lake Tekapo, the hotel is overly priced for what it offers. The room looked shabby outdated and had an overbearing smell. Visited peak winter and there was just a small heatpump. Toilet flush did not work properly overall vibe was uncomfortable and unclean.

The room and washroom are clean and walking distance to the lake. Heating is good in the room. Nice for cold weather. But no elevator or help for big luggage.

Wonderful to be able to get a room here on the lake front at such short notice. Loved the newly decorated room with a great few of the lake. Staff were very friendly and kindly upgraded me to one of the newly decorated rooms with a view of the lake. The room was toasty warm and nicely decorated. Amazing shower with good pressure. The Jack Rabbit restaurant downstairs is great with super friendly and helpful staff which was great as no need to go outside in the cold once checked in for the night. Highly recommended and hope to stay again.
