Nice size room and close to beach. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. We asked for a late check out which they let stay until 1 pm. Most likely stay here again.

The lighting in our room was very poor. One lamp on bedside table. There were four of us in the room with only one towel rack in the bathroom. They need to make proper provisions when accommodating more than two people. The appearance of the front desk receptionist was less than desirable. At one time we found him sleeping. Does not make for a good impression when entering the lobby. We probably would stay there again.

Very nice room - pool was refreshing and well kept.

Great location and pool was nice for kids. Breakfast was convenient. Place is showing a bit of age but not bad.

Location is beyond ideal if you are spending some time in Santa Barbara. Walk to beaches, the marina, shoreline, State Street, Funk Zone etc. Front desk extremely friendly and helpful. Surprisingly good daily breakfast with real eggs and tasty coffee. Do not plan to sleep in though. Carts start rumbling at 8am, and expect loud conversations among the staff. If you understand vulgar Spanish slang then cover your ears. Beds are very comfortable.

The cleaning crew (ladies) are completely rude and have no manners towards guests. 👎

Well, when we reached in the night, we were expecting to see the ocean as the name says but did not. However, next morning we noticed in fact it is very close to the Ocean. In terms of the facility it is clean, decently maintained. Amenities are reasonable and serves the purpose. The best part we liked at this facility is the Breakfast. Even though it says continental breakfast, they had more than just bagels, toast and muffins. We had a full breakfast, that's the highlight. Overall its a good place.

The location is definitely the biggest advantage of this hotel, and the breakfast was quite good. The staff was friendly and the room was generally clean. However, the rooms are very outdated and don’t justify the price. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain properly, and the refrigerator didn’t work at all. There is also no laundry facility, which is inconvenient for longer stays. Overall, it feels like you’re mostly paying for the location rather than the quality of the hotel itself.

Stay went great would definitely be stopping in again on the next trip out…
